#fxfightshunger Food Drive 2023 is on for Thursday Oct 5 at City Mazda 2672 Robie St, running all day from 6am to 6pm. 

WIth the recent wildfires, floods and increases in food prices, Nova Scotia food banks are struggling and need help so Country 101.9 and some local businesses have teamed up to help out. NSLive.tv will be there to help bring you the fun and excitement as donations for Feed Nova Scotia come in.

Make a monetary online donation at the Canada Helps event page.

Here are some of the most needed foods/supplies:

  • Soups and stews
  • Peanut butter.
  • Cereal, rice, Pasta and pasta sauce.
  • Canned vegetables and fruits.
  • Canned proteins are needed – Canned meat, fish and beans.
  • Baby Foods, Formula and Diapers. Feed Nova Scotia can leverage CASH at grocery stores better than consumers.
