The CAUSE4HOPE Fundraising Gala
April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month, with world Parkinson’s Day being recognized on April 11th The CAUSE4HOPE Gala is just one of a number of events planned by the Parkinson’s Society of Nova Scotia during the month of April which is Parkinson’s Awareness Month.
The gala was hosted by the Fusion Dance and Wellness Studio and featured some art work, a silent auction, performances by competitive dance students and the debut of DANCEABLE, a group of Parkinson’s performers, caregivers and their ever patient dance instructor Cheryl.
The Society will close out the month in grand style with a CAUSE4HOPE Walk, Roll, Run, being held at the Canada Games Centre Saturday April 29th.
