COP SHOP 2024
Local police officers and children partner for 20th annual CopShop presented by the Halifax Shopping Centre and Halifax Regional Police took place on Wednesday, December 4 at 11 a.m.
For this annual event, HRP officers become personal shoppers to local children as they set out for a special shopping spree. Each child receives a $200 gift card generously donated by Halifax Shopping Centre, a stocking filled with goodies and a new winter coat from Sport Chek.
In the spirit of giving, Halifax Shopping Centre also gives each shopping duo a $10 gift card to help pay it forward; the CopShop participant purchases a gift for a child of the same age, which the mall will then donate to the Salvation Army Toy Drive.
